Living and Working at the Festival

The „9 to 5 – Wir nennen es Arbeit“ festival camp is an event for those who feel that working should be more like living – and not the other way around. On three different days, each given its own daily concept (day 1 is all about burning money, day 2 concentrates on getting things done, while day 3 encourages you to try and change the world for the better), you are invited to come and join the fun and games at Radialsystem V in Berlin. On the following pages, you can find out more about our programs and activities. See you in August!

Workstations

Work how you want to live.
9to5 at RADIALSYSTEM V will provide workstations all over the place. Whether it be on the sun deck, at the banks of the river Spree, in the central hall or in the studios – there’s enough space, electricity and wireless internet for your own laptops everywhere, free of charge and without reservation.
Furthermore, we will give you the opportunity to relocate your whole business to RADIALSYSTEM V. If you want to come along with your office, your studio or your team, please register early enough. Mail to: mail@9to5.wirnennenesarbeit.de

Of course, everyone is also invited to just come along and see the festival.

You don’t have to, but feel free to work at your own convenience: in any case, electricity, wireless network, computers and desks are available at any time. You don’t have to bring a laptop, but it might be useful to do so. We also welcome whole projects and groups of people to come and temporarily take over RADIALSYSTEM V.
Employees are welcome with open arms, if you can manage to synchronise your regular work schedule with the 9to5 festival camp. Afterwards, you might even begin to consider whether you’ll ever want to return to an office again.

Feel free to bring your own technical equipment: we installed a secure place to store your stuff. Meanwhile, Tim Pritlove from Chaos-Computer-Club will be lecturing on security in wireless networks.
